Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Dhaka

Welcome and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Dhaka.  

Day 02: Dhaka

Breakfast at Hotel.  After breakfast at hotel full day sightseeing covering National Museum (The museum, located at Shahbag, started its journey in 1913. It has very rich collections of a large number of sculptures, paintings, old coins, metal images, silver filigree, calligraphy, folk art and handicrafts etc. of ancient and medieval periods. The museum is well organized and displays have been housed in several departments like department of ethnography and decorative art, department of history and classical art, department of natural history, and department of contemporary and world civilization), Lord Curzon Hall (The Curzon Hall is a British Raj-era building and home of the Faculty of Science at the University of Dhaka. The building was originally intended to be a town hall and is named after Lord Curzon, the Viceroy of India who laid its foundation stone in 1904.Upon the establishment of Dhaka University in 1921, it became the base of the university's science faculty), Central Shaheed Minar, Dhakeswari Temple (Dhakeshwari National Temple is a famous Hindu temple in Dhaka first built in 12th century, and later rebuilt and renovated numerous times. This state-owned temple is the ‘National Temple’. The name ‘Dhakeshwari’ means ‘Goddess of Dhaka’. Dhakeshwari Temple is the most important Hindu place of worship in Bangladesh). Lalbagh fort-It is an old Mughal fort in the southwestern part of Dhaka City. The construction of the fort was commenced in 1678 by a Mughal prince, Muhammad Azam. The fort, with its three gateways, is a combination of three buildings: the Diwan-i-Aam or Audience Hall with a HamamKhana or Turkish bath downstairs, the Tomb of PariBibi and the mosque. Overnight at Hotel in Dhaka. 

Day 03: Chittagong

Breakfast at Hotel. Buffet Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Sonargaon to visit Panam Nagar at Sonargaon (About 29 km from Dhaka). Sonargaon was one of the oldest capitals of ancient Bangladesh. Dhaka was connected with the silk road by Uttarapath (North Road) constructed in the 3rd century BC. The road was refurbished in the 16th century AD and became known as The Grand Trunk Road which also connected Dhaka with Sonargaon. Sonargaon Folk Art Museum & Goaldi Mosque (The Goaldi Mosque is one of the very few surviving medieval monuments in the city of Sonargaon about half mile northwest of the little township of Panam. Built in 1519, the graceful, single-domed Goaldi Mosque is the most impressive of the few extant monuments of the old capital city, and a good example of pre-Mughal architecture). Later proceed to Chittagong via Comilla to visit old Buddhist Ruins in Mainamati, Comilla. After arrival at Chittagong transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant & overnight at Hotel in Chittagong. 

Day 04: Rangamati

After breakfast at hotel proceed to Rangamati. En-route visit Shrine of Bayazid Bostami (was a famous Persian Sufi born in Bostam, Iran. Its shrine area as a complex consists of a tomb surrounded by a brick structure along with an old mosque and a large pond). After arrival at Rangamati excursion by Motor Boat on the Kaptai Lake with its splendid setting of lush landscape and scenic grandeur and visit tribal village. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Rangamati.

Day 05: Bandarban

After breakfast visit Rajban Vihara, Buddhist temple. After sightseeing drive to the hill district Bandarban. En-route visit tribal market and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the Golden temple (The Buddha Dhatu Jadi also known as the Bandarban Golden Temple is located close to Balaghata town, in Bandarban City, in Bangladesh. Dhatu are the material remains of a holy person, and in this temple the relics belong to Buddha. It is the largest Theravada Buddhist temple in Bangladesh and has the second-largest Buddha statue in the country. The Bandarban Golden Temple belongs to the Theravada Buddhism order, which is practiced by the Marma indigenous people, a dominant ethnic group of Bandarban), local bazar. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Bandarban.

Day 06: Cox’s Bazar

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning visit different types of Tribal Villages to see their lifestyle by Chandergari. Later back to Bandarban and proceed to Cox’s Bazar. En-route visit Buddhist Temples/Pagoda in Ramu. Late afternoon arrival cox’s bazaar and transfer to Hotel. Enjoy the sunset on the Beach if time permits. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel in Cox’s Bazar.

Day 07: Cox’s Bazar

Breakfast at Hotel. Half day excursion to Himchari and Inani Beach. Afternoon free on the beach. Late afternoon visit Souvenir shops. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at Hotel in Cox’s Bazar. 

Day 08: Dhaka

Breakfast at Hotel. Proceed to Dhaka via Chattogram visit Chittagong War Cemetery and Foy’s Lake. Overnight at Hotel Dhaka.

Day 09: Dhaka

Full day free/ rest in Dhaka.

Day 10: Sreemangal

Buffet breakfast at hotel and proceed to Sreemangal. On the way stop few interesting places. On arrival at Sreemangal visit Lawachara rain forest- A part of the famous Hollywood film “Around the World in 80 Days” shot in this forest, is a major national park and nature reserve in Bangladesh. The park is located at Kamalganj Upazila, Maulvi Bazar District in the northeastern region of the country. The land was declared a national park by the Bangladesh government. Also visit Khasia tribal village. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Sreemangal.

Day 11: Sylhet

Buffet Breakfast at hotel and visit tea garden, tea processing factory and enjoy a fresh cup of tea. After visit tea museum at Sreemangal Tea Resort. Later proceed to Sylhet via Jaflong and Visit the beautiful Jaflong and admire the rolling hills and tea gardens Explore the nearby stone quarries and the rushing Piyain River. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Sylhet.

Day 12: Sylhet

Buffet Breakfast at hotel and visit the famous Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar Sharif and Hazrat Shah Paran Mazar Sharif. Explore the scenic Ratargul Swamp Forest. Enjoy a traditional Bengali lunch at a local restaurant Visit the stunning Lalakhal Tea Garden and Lalakhal River for a boat ride. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Sylhet.

Day 13: Dhaka

Buffet Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Dhaka. Afternoon free at own. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Dhaka.

Day 14: Sundarban

Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Mogla. After arrival at Mongla at 13:30 head towards the Karamjal and begin your enchanting journey thru Mangrove forest of ‘Sundarban’ stopping along the way at Karamjal mangrove forest area and capturing unique way of catching fish by otters (Bhondar) subject to availability. Enjoy the landscape of terrain of Sundarban. Dinner and overnight on Board.

The Sundarban is a natural region in the Bengal region comprising Eastern India and Bangladesh. It is the largest single block of tidal halophytic mangrove forest in the world. The Sundarban covers approximately 10,000 square kilometres (3,900 sq mi) of which 60 percent is in Bangladesh with the remainder in India. The Sundarban is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Sundarban isthe world largest mangrove forest. Housing a diverse array of flora and fauna the Sundarban is home to at least 78 different species of mangroves. Located at the mouth of the Ganges and Brahmaputra Rivers between India and Bangladesh, its forest and waterways support a wide range of' fauna including a number of species threatened with extinction. The mangrove habitat supports the single largest population of tigers in the world which have adapted to an almost amphibious life, being capable of swimming for long distances and feeding on fish, crab and water monitor lizards.

Day 15: Sundarban

This early morning the motorboat continuous to the bay of narrow canals, Dramatic excitement begins when you switch over to ‘country-boat’ rowing along picturesque view of thickness Mangrove forest with absolute silence prevails-discover pugmarks of ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’ various species of Kingfisher and home of crocodile.Later guarded by forest rangers, and local experts, time to explore Katka Beach & Katka wild life of Sundarban by walking tours. Don not miss out capturing spotted deer (Chital Horin), different species of macaque Monkeys and mongoose, wild boar, endanger reptiles and Indian python, and explore as many species of birds out 260.

Day 16: Khulna

Breakfast at board and disembark from vessel and proceed to Khulna. En-route visit Sixty Dome Mosque (ShaitGombuj Mosque)-The Sixty Dome Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site , is a mosque in Bangladesh, the largest in that country from the Sultanate period. It has been described as "the most impressive Muslim monuments in the whole of the Indian subcontinent. The construction of the mosque was started in 1442 and it was completed in 1459.The mosque was used for prayer purposes, Mausoleum of Khan Jahan Ali, 9 dome mosque-The Nine Dome Mosque is a historic mosque in Bagerhat, Bangladesh. It was built in the fifteenth century by a Mughal general on orders from Babur himself and supervised later on by Humayun. The Nine Dome Mosque is located to the west of the takurdighi tank and built in the 15th century, it is close to Khan Jahan Ali's Tomb and transfer to Hotel in Khulna. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Khulna.

Day 17: Rajshahi

After buffet breakfast at hotel proceed to Rajshahi. En-route visit tiles factory in Jessore and Enjoy Boul Song at Lalon Shah Mazar in Kushtia (Lalon, also known as Lalon Sain, Lalon Shah, Lalon Fakir or Mahatma Lalon (c. 1772 – 17 October 1890; Bengali: 1 Kartik, 1179), was a Bengali Baul saint, mystic, songwriter, social reformer and thinker. In Bengali culture, he is considered as an icon of religious tolerance whose songs inspired and influenced many poets, social and religious thinkers including Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam and Allen Ginsberg though he "rejected all distinctions of caste and creed". He was both praised and criticized in his lifetime and after his death). Late afternoon arrive Rajshahi and transfer to Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Rajshahi.

Day 18: Bogra

Breakfast at hotel and visit Putia village covering 5 Ratna ShivaTemple, 1 dome Govinda Temple, 3 dome-Ahnik Temple,Old Putia Rajbari Palace and Jagannath Temple in Rajshahi. Later proceed to Borga via Paharpur and visit Paharpur(Somapura Mahavihara-Located in north part of Bangladesh, the Paharpur Mahavihara, a UNESCO designated world heritage, was built by Emperor Dharmapala (r. 770-810 AD). Its main building complex, almost quadrangular in shape with an inner courtyard having a stupa-temple in its center, measures 281 meters north to south, and 280.1 meters from east to west. The Mahavihara is built of fire-baked bricks laid in mud mortar. The huge Paharpur Monastery is a result of a single construction phase. The monastery had 177 monastic cells on the ground floor. All the cells are connected by a specious veranda, which is 2.4-2.7 meters in width and runs continuously all around) and Museum. After arrival at Bogra transfer to Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Bogra.

Day 19: Bogra

Breakfast at Hotel - Leave Hotel for Bogra.  On the way visit KANTAJEE TEMPLE at Dinajpur. Direct proceed for Bogra. Evening arrival at Bogra and transfer to Hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 20: Dhaka

After breakfast at hotel visit Mahasthangarh – the oldest civilization in Bangladesh of 3rd century B.C, Govinda Vita&VasuBihara in Bogra and proceed to Dhaka crossing Mighty Jamuna River over Jamuna Bridge and enjoy natural view from Bridge (Jamuna Multi-purpose Bridge is a bridge opened in Bangladesh in June 1998. It connects Bhuapur on the Jamuna River's east bank to Sirajganj on its west bank. It was the 11th longest bridge in the world when constructed in 1998 and currently the 6th longest bridge in South Asia. It was constructed over the Jamuna River, one of the three major rivers of Bangladesh.). Dinner and overnight at hotel in Dhaka.

Day 21: Barishal

After breakfast at hotel and proceed to Barisal. En-route lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the floating market -appears as the center of Barisal’s (aka The Venice of Bengal) beauty. Nobody knows when the idea of this floating market began, but it’s a hundred-year-old tradition. Development and modernization are taking over the country but it’s surprising to see them not reaching this river-oriented life yet. Guthia Mosque- the Baitul Aman Jame Masjid Complex, commonly known as Guthia Mosque of Barisal, is a mosque complex of Bangladesh having a land area of 14 acres, comparing to the 8.30 acres land area of the national mosque Baitul Mukarram of the country. Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Barisal.

Day 22: Dhaka

Check-out from the hotel and proceed to Dhaka. En-route visit Largest Pottery village in Barisal.  The four villages of Maheshpur Paul Para in Niamati union of Barisal's Bakerganj upazila have a long association with clay. For centuries the area has been home to potters and with around two hundred families still engaged in the traditional industry, Maheshpur Paul Para retains its distinction as the primary hub for earthenware in Barisal. En-route lunch at local restaurant. Upon arrival at Dhaka visit the Launch Repairing Yard at Dhaka. Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Dhaka. 

Day 23: Dhaka

Free Day at Dhaka. This will be a free day for you. You can roam around different shopping malls on own and do some shopping.

Day 24: Dhaka

After breakfast at hotel visit Baliati Zamindar Bari is located at the village of Baliati, in Saturia Upazila of Manikganj District. The palace is situated on a lush and sprawling premise, approximately 16,000 square meters. Backside of the palace has a pond having four ghats. It is one of the finest specimens of the 19-century monuments of the renaissance colonial style in Bangladesh. The founder of the Baliati Zamindar was one Govinda Ram Shaha, who was a big salt merchant, built the Complex (Bari). This remarkable complex has been accused by the Bangladesh Archeological Department in 1987 and has been given a new name "Baliati Palace" as protected cultural property. And visit National Martyrs' Memorial. Later visit Brass metal at Dhamrai. Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Dhaka.

Day 25: Dhaka

Breakfast at hotel and sightseeing covering Sadarghat River Front, located in the southern part of Dhaka, on the river Burignaga, is one of the most dynamic places in Dhaka. Here, the Sadarghat Launch Terminal is one of the largest river ports in the world. Visit Ahsan Manzil is a palace located in the Kumartoli area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was formerly the residence and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka and has been designated an Old Dhaka Heritage Site. It now serves as a museum. Later visit Star Mosque and Armenian Church Dhaka. Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Dhaka. 

Day 26: Departure

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for final departure with happy memories.
